Over Troubled Water

Strengthening the relationships between all African ancestored descendants

Wednesday, August 10, 2011

I received this message from Munya Muzenda, from Zimbabwe.  I am happy to share it with the readers and listeners of Over Troubled Water.

Please read this to your audience as special message from Munya, Afrika Speaks:

"Always remember the Golden Rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated. Even though some people may not be nice to you at first, they will the more they get to know you.  Assume the best about people. Most people don't mean to insult or offend others most of the... time.  Bad language, gossiping, whining, selfishness and greediness don't mix with being nice. Let us all be nice and feel good. That's our golden rule towards World Peace, harmony, love and understanding amongst people."

Thank you Munya!

Please join us this evening for our show:  Oral History and the Origins of the Blues.

Welcome!

With the blessings of technology, all African ancestored descendants can develop an online haven where healing can take place. Let's recite and relish in our history. Let's come together to identify the principles that help us to enjoy freedom and happiness. Hopefully, "Over Troubled Water" will be the beginning of that for you. We welcome contributors who will share their history and perspectives that we may all learn and benefit.

Our Motto:

"I believe that all men, black and brown and white, are brothers, varying in time and opportunity, in form and gift and feature, but differing in no essential particular, and alike in soul and the possibility of infinite development." --W.E.B. Dubois
